After attending hundreds of weddings and noticing the importance of a great musical choice, Andrei Weddings compiles a Top 10 of First Dance songs. Which one is your favourite?
10. At Last by Etta James
Lyrics like "At last/My love has come along/My lonely days are over/And life is like a song" suggest that this a good choice for the first dance as husband and wife. You can listen to the song below:
9. Truly Madly Deeply by Savage Garden
The most representative lyrics of Truly Madly Deeply are the following: "I want to stand with you on a mountain/I want to bathe with you in the sea/I want to lay like this forever/Until the sky falls down on me."

8. Rule The World by Take That
Some lyrics that justify why this song works well for the first dance are the following: "Yeah, you and me, we can ride on a star/If you stay with me, girl/We can rule the world/Yeah, you and me, we can light up the sky/If you stay by my side/We can rule the world"

7. Wherever You Will Go by Charlene Soraia
This song was originally performed by The Calling, but Charlene Soraia's version is slowed down and its ideal for a wedding. Lyrics like : "If I could, then I would/I'll go wherever you will go/Way up high or down low/I'll go wherever you will go" will definitely give the feels to the bride and the groom, as well as to the guests.

This song is perfect to illustrate the feelings of a man towards his wife and the following lyrics just add value to this statement: "Well open up your mind and see like me/Open up your plans and damn you're free/Look into your heart and you'll find love love love love/Listen to the music of the moment people dance and sing/We are just one big family/And it's our God-forsaken right to be loved loved loved loved loved".

4. Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran
The following are the most representative lyrics of this song: "And darling I will be loving you 'til we're 70/And baby my heart could still fall as hard at 23/And I'm thinking 'bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways/Maybe just the touch of a hand/Oh me I fall in love with you every single day/And I just wanna tell you I am". This choice will surely be a hit and will make your first dance unforgettable.

3. Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars
This is a superb love anthem and it deserves its place as first dance song. Just listen out for these lyrics and you'll see what I mean: "When I see your face/There's not a thing that I would change/'cause you're amazing/Just the way you are/And when you smile/The whole world stops and stares for a while/'Cause girl you're amazing/Just the way you are"

2. Beautiful by Bazzi featuring Camila Cabello
It was really difficult for me to decide what place this song should be on in Top 10 First Dance songs, but I finally said this should be on the second spot. The song has a nice instrumental and its lyrics complement the sound: "Hey/Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful angel/Love your imperfections every angle/Tomorrow comes and goes before you know/So I just had to let you know"

1. Perfect by Ed Sheeran and Beyonce
I don't know if you expected for Andrei Weddings to pick this song as number 1 song in the Top 10 first dance songs, but this duet is superb and it rightfully deserves the top spot as it has lyrics that will warm your heart: "I found a love for me/Oh darling, just dive right in and follow my lead/Well, I found a girl, beautiful and sweet/Oh, I never knew you were the someone waiting for me/'Cause we were just kids when we fell in love/Not knowing what it was/I will not give you up this time/But darling, just kiss me slow, your heart is all I own/And in your eyes, you're holding mine".
The chorus is also worth mentioning: "Baby, I'm dancing in the dark with you between my arms/Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favourite song/When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath/But you heard it, darling, you look perfect tonight".
