The wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of your life, but sometimes costs come in the way. Have a look at some facts and figures about the real cost o a wedding in Phuket, Thailand.
According to The Telegraph, the average price of a wedding reaches an all time high of 27,161 £
However most of these are the low to average weddings. Amongst our couple costs are somewhere between 25,000 to 65,000 £.
Now, I will break up this figures so you can get a slight idea of why it is cheaper to have a destination wedding.
Usually the cost of the venue takes 20% of this sum, with the decorations, food and drinks adding another 35-40% to this.
20% goes to the Dress and Rings
The rest of 10%-15% is split between add-ons such as a photographer, a videographer, entertainer, music, etc.
Another 10% goes to the honeymoon.
Now, let's see the costs of an (amazing) destination wedding. The average wedding in Phuket costs 15k to 30k £.
For this money you will get nothing but luxury! There is a huge difference between a ballroom in London and a beach setting in Phuket. Again, food is healthier, tastier and a lot cheaper in Phuket. Shall we mention the weather too? In terms of decor, this again is cheaper in Phuket, however do you need that much since you have the ocean and sandy beaches as a natural decor?
The honeymoon is already here so you can save lots on that as well as having your guests taste a little of it as well.
Then, you can have actually more to spend for the things that actually matter such as the rings which you will hold on to the entire life, the dress which each and every one of you dies for and the lasting memories from Photography and Videography.
